Shingle Creek and West Mississippi Watershed Managment Commission (SCWM)
Osseo is a member city of the Shingle Creek and West Mississippi watersheds, which extend over 67 square miles in east-central Hennepin County, MN. The ten cities in these watersheds jointly manage the lakes, streams and wetlands through the SCWM Watershed Management Commissions. The Commission is governed by a five member board of Commissioners from each member city, appointed for 3 year terms.
