The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Committee is to develop plans for Osseo based parks and consider all recreation opportunities for Osseo residents. The Parks & Recreation Committee serves as an advisory board to the Osseo City Council.
Membership: Two members of the Osseo City Council and five Osseo residents, who are appointed by the Osseo City Council
Terms: Residents are appointed in staggering 3-year terms, Councilmembers are appointed annually. The Committee shall appoint a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson annually.
Meetings: The Parks & Recreation Committee typically meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month in February, April, June, October, and December and more frequently at special meetings (as needed).
